Condition
Unframed.The unlined painting is in fair condition. There is craquelure evident throughout and there are some associated losses. There are some losses to the surface along the edges, as well as two areas at top center in the sky, at bottom center in the rocks, and scattered at lower left. On verso there is an approx. 8 in. long area of pressure pushing toward the verso. Under UV light there is evidence of inpainting throughout, see Specialist's photos for more details.
